Timeline:
Days 1–3
Some swelling, bruising and tightness across the chest is completely normal. Discomfort is usually well managed with prescribed medication and a supportive surgical bra is worn continuously.
Week 1–2
Swelling begins to reduce and most patients feel significantly more comfortable. You will attend a follow-up appointment with Dr. Orman before returning home.
Week 2–6
The breasts gradually settle into their new position and daily activities can usually be resumed. Strenuous exercise and heavy lifting should still be avoided.
Month 1–3
The breast shape continues to refine as swelling resolves and the tissues soften. The result becomes increasingly natural as the breasts settle.
Final Results
Final breast implant revision results are typically fully visible between 3 and 6 months after surgery. The improved shape, balance and proportion you and Dr. Orman planned are now fully revealed.
